There are many lovely beaches, Pattaya Beach, Cosy Beach, Wong Amat Beach and Jomtien Beach. Boat trips to Koh Lan (Coral Island) are inexpensive and very popular. The boat trip takes under an hour and takes you to a white coral sand beach, with crystal clear water. See: Island Map.
Eating out in Pattaya is much less expensive than Phuket or Koh Samui. It is possible to eat using the street-side food vendors for as little as 40 Baht, or 150-200 Baht per person in a classier establishment. Top restaurants will charge more. The selection of restaurants in Pattaya is massive, the choice is yours.
Supermarkets in Thailand are much more than just places that sell food. They are places to meet, drink and eat. Carrefour, at a distance of only 300 metres from the condo, is the best supermarket in Pattaya and is renowned for having a large choice of low cost restaurants serving a selection of international cuisine. Foodland, which is only 100 metres from the Condo, also has a varied food menu at very convenient prices. It is very popular and inexpensive so tourists and expats eat there regularly. Also within 100 metres from the Condo is Valentinos, an authentic Italian Restaurant run by Ricardo. All the food is amazing, with the best pizzas on this Planet costing 280 Baht.
Full English Breakfasts are available in many establishments for 100 Baht. To cook the same in the Condo would cost 50 Baht per person, since food costs are similar to European prices, and both Carrefour and Foodland have fantastic Bakery departments.
There are hundreds of restaurants in Pattaya to choose from, thousands of bars, plus many inexpensive hair and beauty salons. Reflexology and Thai Massage costs from 200 - 300 Baht per hour.
